Overview

As the Greek army prepares for a monumental battle, they find themselves stalled by still winds. King Agamemnon, desperate to appease the gods and ensure favorable weather, inadvertently kills a sacred deer. As retribution, the deities demand a grave sacrifice: his own daughter, Iphigenia. Torn between duty and familial love, Agamemnon faces an agonizing decision that tests the limits of loyalty and morality, setting the stage for a tragic confrontation between fate and free will.
