Flight (2012)

Overview

Whip Whitaker, a commercial pilot, grapples with substance abuse but has managed to keep disasters at bay—until a catastrophic mechanical failure puts his skills to the ultimate test. Miraculously, he crash-lands the plane, saving most aboard but still claiming six lives. The harrowing experience prompts Whip to commit to sobriety. However, as the investigation into the incident reveals the extent of his addiction, he faces increasing scrutiny and jeopardizes his future.
