Overview

In the quaint town of Grandview, Illinois, high school senior Tim Pearson dreams of studying oceanography in Florida. His world shifts when he encounters Michelle "Mike" Cody, the spirited operator of the local Demolition Derby. Meanwhile, Ernie "Slam" Webster, a derby driver grappling with his wife's infidelity, has his sights set on Mike as well.
