Overview

Chuck Connor, a free-spirited drifter, heads west to visit an old friend and his four sons. Tragedy strikes when his friend dies in a riding accident, compelling Chuck to step in as their guardian. They embark on a journey to find stability, leading Chuck to work on a ranch while concealing the children from a boss who despises kids. Complications arise with a neighboring ranch, and the situation intensifies when a runaway girl seeking refuge from her abusive uncle unexpectedly joins their makeshift family. Chuck begins to question his newfound responsibilities and the chaos that follows.
