Overview

Louisa Muller debuts as director at Garsington, with Richard Farnes returning to conduct. Sophie Bevan portrays the Governess, while British tenor Ed Lyon makes his Garsington debut as Quint. Set in a secluded country estate, the story follows a young governess tasked with caring for two seemingly innocent children. However, their unsettling behavior raises concerns as she grapples with the possibility of supernatural influences. Bound by the mandate to avoid contacting their guardian in London, the governess must determine whether the children are innocent souls or harbor darker intentions.
