In "Le Cercle Rouge," ex-convict Corey vows to stay away from a life of crime after his release from prison. However, fate intervenes when he crosses paths with Vogel, an escaped killer. The two, alongside Jansen, a former cop turned drunkard, devise an elaborate plan to steal a valuable jewel. Meanwhile, the eccentric Police Commissioner Mattei, who failed to keep Vogel in custody, is hot on their trail, determined to recapture the fugitive.
