The Pay-Off

Overview

A young engaged couple finds themselves victims of a robbery at the hands of a thug desperate for cash. Unexpectedly, the thug's boss intervenes, returning the couple's money and offering them protection. However, the thug harbors resentment and schemes to overthrow his boss. When a heist goes awry and the thug is killed, the couple suddenly becomes the prime suspects in the ensuing investigation, drawing them deeper into a world of crime and danger as they fight to clear their names.
