Overview

Following his graduation from Emory University in 1992, high-achieving student and athlete Christopher McCandless makes a life-altering decision. He renounces all his belongings, donates his $24,000 savings to charity, and embarks on an adventure to Alaska, seeking to immerse himself in the wilderness.
