Overview

At 33, Matthieu, a Parisian, learns of his estranged father’s death and travels to Quebec for the funeral, hoping to connect with his two siblings. However, upon arriving in Montréal, he quickly discovers that his existence is unknown to the family, leaving him feeling isolated and unwelcome. As he grapples with this unexpected rejection, Matthieu must navigate a landscape of unfamiliarity and emotional turmoil, confronting the reality of his father’s legacy and his place within a family that seems to have no room for him.
