Overview

Set against the backdrop of the 15th-century conflict between France and England, young Joan believes she has been divinely appointed to rally the French army for their rightful king. Her fervent determination leads to victory, but her fortunes change when she is captured. The Church accuses her of heresy, putting her faith—and mission—on trial.
