Overview

Joy and her family embark on a journey to assist her mother-in-law, Loraine, with a challenging move from Louisville, Kentucky, to a retirement community in Savannah, Georgia. After a flight reservation mishap, Joy opts to drive Loraine's Oldsmobile instead. As they navigate the road together, their contrasting personalities lead to unexpected adventures and deeper understanding. Along the way, both women realize they may be the unlikely friends they never knew they needed. Ultimately, they discover that the love of family can help them navigate life’s transitions and challenges.
