Overview

Celestine, a cunning chambermaid, begins her new position at the Lanlaire estate, intent on leveraging her beauty to win over a wealthy suitor. However, her initial target, Mr. Lanlaire, proves to be under the strict thumb of his controlling wife, Madame Lanlaire, and her peculiar valet, Joseph. Turning her attention to the charming neighbor, former officer Mauger, seems promising until the return of the attractive young heir, Georges. Caught in a web of desire, Celestine must navigate the affections of three very different men from distinct social backgrounds, each with their own views on life.
