The American Way (1987)
A squad of Vietnam veterans takes to the skies in a B-29, interrupting television broadcasts to undermine Mrs. Westinghouse's Senate campaign, which advocates for increased U.S. military action in South America. In retaliation, she authorizes a missile strike against the rogue veterans. However, they skillfully evade the attack while simultaneously unveiling a major scandal tied to her campaign. The tension escalates as the veterans fight not just for their cause, but to reveal the truth behind Westinghouse's ambitions.
