Rogue of the Rio Grande (1930)

Notorious bandit El Malo forces Sierra Blanca's Mayor, Seth Landport, to hand over 2,000 pesos, leaving a promissory note in return. Frantic, Seth seeks help from Sheriff Rankin, who then offers a reward for El Malo’s capture. Meanwhile, the bandit revels at a cantina, where his sidekick Pedro rekindles a romance with Dolores, while El Malo steals the spotlight on the dance floor with Carmita. Misleading descriptions allow El Malo to evade capture, but he soon witnesses a stagecoach robbery from a hilltop, setting the stage for further chaos.
