Madame X (1966)

Overview

A woman tied to a wealthy socialite faces turmoil after the accidental death of a man who pursued her. Pressured by her mother-in-law to adopt a new identity, she embarks on a tumultuous journey filled with heartbreak, alcohol, and questionable relationships. Her path ultimately leads her back to the city where her troubles began, culminating in the murder of a blackmailer threatening to reveal her secrets.
