Overview

Al Shaw immerses himself in the world of motor racing and manages a dilapidated junkyard known as the "Smash Palace." His French wife, Jacqui, feels neglected by his relentless obsession with automobiles. When Al discovers Jacqui with another man, he spirals into despair and takes his daughter, Georgie, into the wilderness. In this desperate bid to preserve their fragile family unit, Al grapples with the consequences of his passions and the unraveling of his domestic life, seeking solace in the only bond that remains.
