Race the Sun (1996)
A group of high school outcasts in Hawaii finds camaraderie through their innovative new teacher. Inspired to participate in a science fair, they set out to design and construct a solar-powered car. Their ambitious project earns them a chance to compete in the prestigious 1990 World Solar Challenge in Australia.
