Overview

Cusi, a young boy from the 20th-century Andes, lives with Chuto, an elderly llama herder who instills traditional Incan values in him. Despite the overwhelming influence of Spanish culture in post-conquest Peru, Cusi longs for adventure beyond his remote mountain valley. His quest for a family leads him on a journey of self-discovery, revealing that the bond with Chuto is the true essence of family he seeks. Ultimately, Cusi learns that home is not just a place but the connections we cherish.
