Temptation (1957)

Overview

Shokichi, a clothing store owner, dreams of opening an art gallery alongside his daughter, Hideko. Their lives take a turn when Hideko introduces two artists: the charming art student Shohei and the struggling painter Sohei. At the gallery's opening, Sohei receives accolades from a renowned printer, yet remains emotionally detached despite his newfound success. Meanwhile, Shohei's sister arrives at the gallery with Sohei's artwork, prompting Shokichi to realize she is the daughter of his long-lost first love, intertwining their fates in unexpected ways.
