The Valley of the Bees (1968)
After being rejected by his father, Ondrej finds refuge with the Order of the Teutonic Knights, where the austere monk Armin becomes his guardian. Following years of rigorous training, Ondrej flees the Order after enduring an unjust punishment, determined to return to his childhood home. Upon arrival, he learns that his father has passed away, and not only does he inherit his father’s estate, but he also sets his sights on marrying his former stepmother.
