Overview

Set against the backdrop of 1963, a group of Danish teenagers navigates the tumultuous journey to adulthood. At the center, Bjorn finds himself torn between the affections of the conventional Kirsten and the alluring Anna, who introduces him to the complexities of love and intimacy. Meanwhile, Erik grapples with the weight of his responsibilities at home, caring for his mentally ill mother under the oppressive watch of his father. As their lives intertwine, unexpected events—including a pregnancy and a shocking revelation—force both boys to confront the limitations imposed by the adults around them.
