Overview

A novelist, struggling with both his failing marriage and his own creative stagnation, retreats to the rural home of his youth. Hoping to find clarity in the quiet, he instead gets tangled up with a much younger woman, forcing him to confront the ghosts of his past and the uncertain shape of his future.
