Rio Grande (1950)
In "Rio Grande," Lt. Col. Kirby Yorke is stationed on the Texas frontier, tasked with protecting settlers from Apache attacks amidst a critical troop shortage. The situation becomes even more complicated when his son, Trooper Jeff Yorke, who he hasn't seen in fifteen years, arrives as one of the 18 new recruits. As they navigate the challenges of warfare and their strained relationship, Kirby must balance his duties as a leader with his role as a father in a tense and dangerous environment.
