Meadowlarks
Overview
Four Cree siblings—Connie, Marianne, Gwen, and Anthony—were torn apart as infants during Canada’s brutal Sixties Scoop, when Indigenous children were forcibly removed and placed with white adoptive families. Now adults, they agree to finally meet for the first time over a holiday weekend in the mountains of Banff. They arrive brimming with excitement and curiosity, yet shadowed by fear of rejection and the weight of a lost childhood.
