Made in Romania (2010)
"Made in Romania" follows a beleaguered film producer finally landing his dream project: a cinematic adaptation of the obscure Victorian novel "The Tides of Reason." After years of cranking out low-budget genre flicks, he succumbs to the dubious demands of his financiers, who insist the film be shot in Romania to exploit a questionable tax loophole. Presented in a documentary style, this comedic tale reveals the chaos of film production as the crew grapples with eccentric personalities, cultural clashes, and language barriers, leading the project to spiral into absurdity deep in rural Romania.
