Overview

François and Noémie operate a family-run sawmill nestled in the mountains near the Swiss border. As the fourth generation to manage the business, François harbors a deep desire for fatherhood. After exhausting all avenues of fertility treatments, the couple decides to pursue adoption. Everything changes when François encounters Patricia, a newcomer to the area, sparking an intense romantic connection. Their affair takes an unexpected turn when Patricia discovers she is pregnant, complicating François and Noémie's plans and forcing him to confront his dreams of parenthood in an entirely new light.
