Overview

Jim Stark, a rebellious teenager, relocates to a new town hoping for a fresh start, but being the outsider presents its own challenges. In his quest for belonging, he befriends a troubled classmate named Plato and becomes infatuated with Judy, a local girl. Unfortunately, Judy is dating the local bully, Buzz. When Buzz aggressively confronts Jim, he issues a challenge for a drag race, igniting a series of escalating conflicts that push Jim deeper into turmoil.
