Christine (1983)
In "Christine," socially awkward teenager Arnie Cunningham develops an intense fascination with a dilapidated 1958 Plymouth Fury, which he names Christine. As he dedicates himself to restoring the car, he undergoes a dramatic transformation, gaining confidence that quickly spirals into arrogance. With every improvement made to Christine, Arnie’s personality shifts dangerously, alienating his girlfriend Leigh and his best friend Dennis. They try to intervene, but they soon realize that Christine is more than just a car; she's a malevolent force that influences Arnie's actions in unsettling ways.
