Thirteen-year-old Sonja, a compassionate girl, stumbles into a small village accompanied by a band of misfits. The village is shrouded in a curse stemming from the tragic disappearance of the King’s only daughter, Goldhair, who vanished while seeking the elusive Christmas Star. The grief-stricken King, having lost his beloved wife to sorrow, condemned the star, plunging the realm into despair. According to an ancient sage, Goldhair still lives and will return if the King can rediscover the Christmas Star. Each Christmas, he searches in vain, hoping to break the curse and restore joy to his kingdom.
