Overview

Kanjuro Nomi, a weary samurai, roams the countryside with his daughter Tae, armed only with a scabbard. After abandoning his lord, he faces an unconventional fate: to survive, he must make a sorrowful young prince smile within thirty days, following the loss of his mother. As Kanjuro embarks on this daunting mission, he navigates the complexities of grief and joy, hoping to not only save his own life but also bring light to a young heart burdened by sadness.
