Overview

Set in 1868, after the conclusion of the Bakumatsu war, Kenshin Himura, a former assassin, roams Japan armed with a unique reverse-bladed sword. His mission is to protect the vulnerable while adhering to his vow of non-lethal combat. Haunted by his past, Kenshin seeks redemption by using his skills for good, confronting both internal demons and external threats. As he encounters various characters along his journey, he strives to forge a new path, balancing his desire for peace with the remnants of his violent history.
