The Heirloom (2024)

As winter drags on with lockdowns and Eric struggles with writer's block, he decides to adopt a dog with his girlfriend Allie. They are a contemporary couple—vegan, ethical, and a bit neurotic—so they spend a lot of time researching and discussing the perfect pet. Eventually, they welcome Milly, a rescue pup from the Dominican Republic, into their lives.
