Overview

Frank Vega, a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, faces a harsh reality upon returning home—society has turned its back on him, resulting in joblessness and the loss of his high school sweetheart. Decades later, a heroic act on a commuter bus thrusts him back into the spotlight, earning him local admiration. However, his newfound fame quickly evaporates when his best friend is murdered, and the authorities show little interest in solving the crime.
