Whisper of the Heart (2022)

Overview

Shizuku Tsukishima, a third-grade middle school student with a passion for reading, crosses paths with her classmate Seiji Amasawa. Initially dismissive of him, she soon becomes intrigued by his dedication to his dreams, while he encourages her aspiration to become a novelist. They make a pact to chase their ambitions together. A decade later, Shizuku has abandoned her writing dream, now working as an editor for a children's book publisher. Amidst her struggles at work, Seiji continues to pursue his artistic aspirations abroad, highlighting the contrasting paths of their shared dreams.
