Sara Westbrook, a meticulous French chef, finds her upscale café, Chez Varenne, threatened by the boisterous Five Alarm Grill, a new eatery run by charming ex-firefighter Gill Callahan and his crew. As the competition heats up, Sara and her pastry chef Patsy struggle to attract patrons. However, everything changes when ten-year-old Hannah, Gill’s daughter, enters the picture, unwittingly playing matchmaker despite the tension between her father and Sara.
