Overview

Amid the backdrop of the Portland Spy Ring trial in the U.K., a discontented Navy Clerk finds himself at a covert research facility. There, he is coerced by Czech intelligence into stealing classified information. As he charms the secretary overseeing the most sensitive documents, they revel in their betrayal. However, their illicit romance and espionage soon attract the attention of British authorities, tightening the noose around their clandestine activities.
