Overview

German-Jewish cabaret singer Nelly emerges from the horrors of Auschwitz, but a disfigured face leads her to undergo reconstructive surgery. Disguised and unrecognizable, she encounters her estranged husband, Johnny, who unknowingly seeks her help to secure his deceased wife's inheritance. Driven by a desire to uncover whether he betrayed her, Nelly agrees to assist him, stepping into a role that mirrors her former self.
