Overview

Set against the backdrop of 1953 Italy, two children are pledged to each other by their fathers in a traditional arrangement. Fast forward to 1974, the world has transformed dramatically, yet societal expectations remain stubbornly intact. As the young adults grapple with their impending nuptials, the pressure mounts to fulfill their families' promises. The clash between old customs and the burgeoning spirit of liberation challenges their desires and futures, forcing them to confront the consequences of their predetermined fate.
