Overview

A British scientist's suicide reveals a shocking betrayal: he had been leaking information to the Communists. Intrigued by the possibility of brainwashing via sensory deprivation, a fellow scientist volunteers for an experimental study. His aim is to uncover whether it’s possible to suppress deep-seated emotions, specifically his love for his wife. As he undergoes the harrowing process, questions of loyalty and manipulation arise, challenging the very nature of human feelings and the limits of psychological control.
