Loyalties (1933)

1h 14m 1933 United Kingdom

During an upscale gathering, affluent Jewish guest Ferdinand de Levis becomes the victim of a £1,000 theft, with suspicion falling on Captain Dancy, another attendee. Rather than defend de Levis, the host seeks to sweep the incident under the rug. When attempts to silence the issue fail, he aligns with Dancy, actively working to tarnish de Levis's reputation. As Dancy's wrongdoing is revealed, he tragically takes his own life, leading to de Levis being unjustly held responsible for the captain's tragic end.
