Overview

America's seventh-ranked superhero squad, the Specials, consists of an eclectic mix of misfits and enthusiasts. When devoted fan Nightbird is welcomed into their ranks, excitement builds around the launch of a new action figure line. However, the team's eccentricities and individual struggles begin to strain their bonds, jeopardizing their unity.
