The Killer Is Loose (1956)
A robbery at a savings-and-loan institution reveals Leon Poole, a timid bank teller, as the unwitting accomplice through a police wiretap. During his apprehension, detective Sam Wagner tragically shoots Poole's young wife, setting off a chain of events. At the trial, consumed by grief and anger, Poole vows to retaliate against Wagner.
