Overview

A poor villager, unable to wed his beloved due to a bride-price he can’t afford, trails her to Istanbul—yet still can’t scrape together the money to face her father. By chance, he befriends a lonely little girl. Craving her family’s attention, she convinces him to fake her kidnapping for ransom. She’ll test their love; he’ll win his bride. But the scheme quickly spirals into chaos.
