Overview

Has-been newscaster Liu Li-min finds himself taken hostage by escaped inmate Zhang Zheng-yi, who insists he’s innocent. Shockingly, Zhang accuses Liu's late wife of framing him. Determined to prove Zhang's innocence and vindicate his wife's name, Liu joins forces with the inmate to reexamine the murder case. As they dig deeper, however, they discover that the truth is more elusive than they ever anticipated, leading them down a complex path filled with twists that challenge their understanding of justice and accountability.
