Overview

In the holiday season, three escaped convicts make their way from the notorious Devil's Island to a nearby French colonial village. Their first stop is the Ducotels' store, known for offering credit to locals. Initially planning to exploit the family's situation, the trio discovers that the Ducotels are struggling financially. This revelation sparks a change of heart in the convicts, leading them to reconsider their intentions and ultimately choose a more compassionate path.
