Overview

In a quaint Minnesota town, preparations for the yearly beauty pageant attract the attention of a television crew. Former pageant queen Gladys Leeman is determined to see her daughter succeed, resorting to increasingly chaotic measures, including explosions and unexpected fires. Given that the Leemans are the wealthiest family in town, local law enforcement turns a blind eye to the madness.
