Shuttle of Hearts

Overview

Gu Xiaolin, an urban woman, travels to a secluded village in Poyang in search of her former boyfriend, the son of devoted teacher Miss Liu. However, she learns that Miss Liu had quit teaching after her son tragically died in an accident. The village leader persuades Gu to step in as a substitute teacher, as the struggling school needs at least one educator to meet provincial standards. As she takes on this temporary role, Gu starts to grasp the deep sense of purpose her late boyfriend felt in serving this underprivileged community.
