Overview

In Los Angeles, the lifeless body of Gloria Hollinger, a young stripper and prostitute, washes ashore, prompting Lt. Phil Gaines to lead the investigation. While Gaines determines that Gloria's death was a suicide, he overlooks her ties to influential mob attorney Leo Sellers.
