La cambiale (1959)
Dante and Tommaso Posalaquaglia, two crafty cousins, thrive on petty schemes to get by. Their luck takes an unexpected turn when Dante secures a hefty promissory note for one hundred thousand lire from the notorious financier Bruscatelli. However, their windfall quickly sours when Bruscatelli is arrested, throwing their plans into disarray.
