Kelly Lofton, a thriving young dentist, seemingly has it all but struggles to carve out time for romance. When her younger sister Susan announces her engagement to a seemingly ideal partner and plans a lavish celebration, Kelly feels the pressure. To save face, she enlists a handsome actor to pose as her date for the weekend.
